I remember my last company we found the only way to get product from China how we wanted was to own the company. We went through several vendors before doing this. They don't listen, can't manufacture efficiently, and constantly want to raise prices despite what contracts we had with them.
I spent the last year and half from mid 06 to early 08 getting our machines ready and sending them over. It was fun and hell at the same time. Most of what we had was in house designed CNC machines with 20 year old operating systems on them so I spent over 6 months just specing out new systems and eventually went with baldor.
Too bad CC was not on the radar at the time for industrial control equipment. ;)
Baldor was great to deal with though and their techs were fantastic to work with much like CC.
Congratulations on the expansion and best of wishes on CC's future. This is a man's Cinderella story!
