The MMM hold down was used by putting some velcro under the MM Pro. This holds it very well.
It also provides a nice place to mount the ON/OFF switch.
I did add a cap to the power leads of the MM Pro.
The ESC fan does run, but only feels warm to the touch. It doesn't run long if I'm not running it hard.
What you see behind the motor, is another ESC mounting platform. This is held in place by the shock mount screws. It has velcro on top of it.
The purpose this serves:
My Eagle tree data logger has the female velcro on it. When I want to log a run, this is where I stick it.
Then it can simply be pulled loose and plugged into the computer for downloading data.
