When it comes to ball-bearings, there are only two options...

[1] If you need great bearings and don't have a lot of cash to spend, Avid RC Bearings are the ONLY way to go! Each bearing is only $1, and they are the best non-ceramic bearings money can buy. You have three types to choose from; Halo dual metal-shielded, Halo dual rubber-shielded, and Revolutions one side metal-shielded & one side rubber-shielded. Personally, the Revolutions are the best way to go, as they give you the super-low friction of metal-shields as well as the super-great sealing of rubber shields. When using Revolutions, you put the rubber-shields toward the outside to repel dirt and grime, while the metal-shields are inside where they are not exposed to anything...they are the perfect bearings!

[2] If you want the best bearings available, and aren't restricted by a tight budget, Acer Racing Ceramic Bearings are the ONLY way to go! You can buy the bearings in complete kits for almost any vehicle, or you can buy the bearings individually. I personally run Acer Racing Ceramic Bearings in all of my RC vehicles, and even use them in a few non-RC applications.
