I see, but the problem is that the error seems to be in the gears ratio coming out from tranny-to-diff, not that of pinion-to-spur.
Using the
Top Speed Calculator with 47/18, You get a max speed of 36.85 mph (a bit more if You assume Lipo at max charge of 4.2 volts per cell), not 53mph.
