I did the first test-drive yesterday after installing the MMPro with novak cap and fan powered by the bec, the tekin 1400kv buggy motor, zippy 6s 3000mah 20C, and DX3.0 radio for mixing the brakes. Gearing is 13/44 which gives right under 40mph and lots of torque
The battery will be changed to a flightpower 6s 3200mah 30C when it gets here, but with this setup's low amp-draw the zippy didn't even reach 100f. In my 8ight with medusa 1600kv it gets to 130, and thus I have ordered a new fp 5s 3200mah 30c for the 8ight.
The mugen's first test-drive was the most perfect ever, everything worked flawlesly and temps were all under 100f, after the second time I checked the temps I didn't check it again before the battery was empty, which took more than 15mins
The handling of this thing was agressive and controlled at the same time, I only need to stiffen up the damping/springs so it doesn't sit too low.
