Yep, you could replace it, it got stretched out. A small amount of play doesn't seem to bother me in 1/8th buggy and truggy set up for racing. Now, in my 1/10th touring car I use the dubro ones, no room for error @ 60+ mph. Give it a drive, see if you can even notice, replace as necessary.
