Before changing the spur, try NOVAK pinion, with plastic spur you will break the spur every set of lipo :(

the hpi spur gear for the savage is very wide and durable. i was having problems with pinions wearing fast and i switched over to the plastic spur and haven't had any problems, even with the countless standing backflips and 0% punch control.

trust me, unless your mesh is bad, a plastic spur will hold up just fine.


They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
