you know that they make HDDs with free fall sensors for cheap... I got my 320gb for $50ish
I learned never to use it in a car though, the up/down movements cause it to park the head...
the best upgrade you can do to a netbook is 2gb of ram, and
if you like to watch movies/games use this, you can also overclock the old dell mini 10(not 10z/new one) to around 2ghz without any problems...
