With my luck i'll have to upgrade the batteries, but would soldering on tamiya connectors completely kill me for amperage? The truck was shipped to me a few days ago and I didn't have any deans connectors to solder to the batteries and charger, but did have a spare tamiya for the esc.. The connectors definitely do not like coming back apart after a hard run
