I have heard both the LST platform and Savage platform are tank-like bashers, so you probably can't go wrong with either one. Just a matter of preference, I am a bit partial to the LST because I love the big shocks and chassis design, but you can also put those shocks on the Savage, and a lot of people prefer the TVP chassis design of the Savage.

I think BrushlessBoy16 has been repairing and reconfiguring some lipos for people lately.
