Hmmm.... IMO 6S 1300Kv 40mph in a 10lbs (or more) Erevo isn't undergeared at all...
We tested this motor in 1:8 buggies, geared for 40mph, and it's heating very fast compared to other standard motor, so it's not a surprise if it heats in your Monster Truck. Gearing up will probably fried it, watch your temps man, and buy a temp probe!
