Its cheaper for sure. Are you comparing it to a mamba max? or Monster? I have read a bunch about that controller. I know the startup is rougher than the mamba or monster. You cant program with a computer. At one point I read a firmware upgrade was bricking them. You cant return them to the factory if you get a defective one because the shipping is more than the item. Castle is constantly upgrading their firmware with newer cooler features. The motor in that combo will not be very efficient, but it will probably work.
The thing about these controllers is that I dont think anyone has perfected them yet and gotton to the point where they are as reliable as the older brushed controllers. With Castle if it breaks in the first year you send it back and they fix or you get a new one. With this one you chuck it in the trash. You probably want to read the reviews. Out of the ones that left good feedback I would wonder how many are still running, but there are a lot of negative ones right off the bat.

But yeah you cant beat the price and I'm sure it will be pretty powerful. Maybe some of the guys here have had better luck with it?

I say, just get an MMM combo. You pay a little extra but I think its worth it.
