you can get a t-maxx roller cheap if one were to look.
its not Just an idea
i dont say to to this.
its just a Cheap way to start.
for the one that dont have alot of money yo play with and there ready to go from nitro to electric.
or have a old broke down t-maxx and would like to convert it.
and for a budget Most people were not born with a golden spoon in There mouth.
and just might be in a spot were thay just cant do alot more at that time .
so hence this is a good way to start and still have a "Toy" to bash arround untill thay get the funds to do something thay would like to do.
i dont know about most out here .
but when i would make house calls and things 90% of working class people dont have the Extra $1500 or more to invest in sutch things but would be able to do things Little at a time in steps.
heck most Real people just bust there butts to pay the power bill in the Real world.
Hence the point
You DONT need alot of Extra money to get you going in the right direction.
but just because its got tires on it dont mean you NEED to add a $300 Brushless system to it.
4x4 to me is Offroad so were is the need for 60+ mph?
you cant do 60+ in a mudbog
kinda dumb to try to do 60+ on rock hills
you dont need 60+ for precision driveing tracks
for the 60+ i would do an E-revo with a $300+ brushless system in it.
but i see the T-maxx and the E-maxx as what it is supose to be >A MONSTER Truck<
you dont see bigfoot or gravedigger doing 60+ on the road......................
i see a Monster truck as a Offroad BEAST with lots of lowend power and rugged as heck.
and with plenty of ground clearance to clear obstacles in an Offroad environment.
Just Fix It !!!
I have been into electronics for 30+ years
