Well never had any replies on this, so here is the answer
Actually I didn't expect a very big change, going from the MMM/2200 combo to the Tekin RX8/2000 kv combo.
But I was wrong. The truck runs way smoother than before, and still with plenty of power. I run it on 4 and 5s lipo and with a 68/22 gearing. Perfect basher material
