Update...
I finally got my batteries (Protek hard case 50c 5000mah 2s) and new gears (99t, 93t, 22t, 23t and 24t)... got them all mounted up and did some small tests with mechanics and the electrics... everything seems to be running well together so far... I hope i can get it on the track this weekend to see how well it runs...

velcro was added to the lipo casing and battery hold downs to reduce the chance of the lipo sliding around... the hold downs were
also raised via 2 x 2mm (4 in all) shims to allow the packs fit comfortably
having a little fun with the throttle... the motor gets to top rpm very quickly and it does so smoothly... low speeds are nice, no cogging
