1. Buy from long term, reputable people/companies with good transaction histories and feedback

2. Use payapl with authenticated address and accounts. Use secondary checking account to prevent any "incidents" on your primary account weather via checking, debit or credit card

3. Email/phone people/companies if you have questions. If they are slow or unwilling to respond, take that as a bad sign.

4. Use your gut instinct, if something doesn't feel right or is to good to be true, it probably is.

5. Use proper and complex passwords for your accounts. NEVER give out info and NEVER tell computer to store password information.

7. Make sure your Windows patchs and antivirus/spyware software are up to date.

8. Request detailed photo's of product if current ones are subpar in quality and detail

9. Get an Ebay/paypal token security key card for increased account security

10. Above all, USE COMMON SENSE
