Well after considerable thinking and weighing of options, i've decided to go back to stock savage size for FB2 for a couple of reasons

1. 6s lipo barely controllable, even with XL mods. Likely to be even worse with standard size Savage frame.
2. 4s plenty of power to move around stock savage size and still have wheelies, backflips and all the fun power without the added strain and wear on components vs 6s usage
3. More and tougher body options
4. Compact and smaller frame and sizeis more bashable and less likely to get damaged
5. 4s usage gives motor and ESC headroom vs 6s, so there less likely to overheat under extended use

That said, i've sold most of the XL stuff to make up in costs. I went ahead and deanodized the stock TVP chassis to give a new lease on life until I see a reason to upgrade to a thicker frame, likely from Team TCS next spring. I also managed to recycle the stock body to fit on the standard savage from. A little trimming here in there and doesn't look half bad! I didn't realize how much I liked and missed the standard "Monster truck" look the Savage. After a $65 repair bill in 6s lipo usage damage, I'll stay with 4s power and go back to stock 20/44 gearing for the best balance of power/speed.

Needless to say, next spring i've some new ideas for FB2. But until then, she'll stay this way for the last days of bashing in 2010!
