My motor wires are stock 1520 motor wires. My revo is getting its yearly teardown and doesn't need the 1520 right now so I'm having fun running in the mid 60mph range with no heat issues. I have a 1518 coming that'll replace it. I want to shorten the wires on that motor and have the esc rotated like yours, but I'd rather not have an extension on the rx wire. Descisions, descisions.
Right now my esc rx wire runs under the center drive shaft, under the motor and through a hole (directly under the pinion) between the chassis and the motor mount. If you look close you can see it next to the rear chassis brace and by the pinion in the pic above. It was the only routing I found that wouldn't need an extension to get to the rx. Its nice and secure there, no chance of getting caught up in the spur or pinion.
