My MBX5R conversion - 11.10.2010, 01:19 PM

Hi guys :)

Ive decided to throw some brushless stuff on my buggy roller thats been sitting ere for awhile. I had originally planned on useing a BCE chassis, but as nice as it is, its just not a very good setup for brushless, it will work, but... the stock chassis is much better so far!

I had redone the 5r last nite shortly after my last test drive with the other chassis, but didnt get to take it out for a test rip until this morning heheh. I was useing a Castle 1515 with both 16, and 18t pinion, and it was ok.. Today I tried it with the Tekin 2250 and 18t pinion, and holy balls does this thing ever rip! Its like a missle heheh. But to be fair, I did drop a little bit of weight by going back to the stock chassis, and the Tekin motor is noticeably lighter then the Castle is. It handles very well, and definately turns on a dime, I havent had anything turn like this does.

Pix!!
