Banning anything based on some arbitrary criteria sounds too much like "Big Brother" to me. People should have the choice to do what they want provided they are educated on the type of content. And if the ban is aimed at kids, I think it's the parent's responsibility to control what they are allowed to play. Period. Same thing with TV programming.
Yeah, some people are gonna go off the deep end (or use these games as justification for irrational behavior), but Darwin will handle those as needed.
