I think you'll find the stock vxl motor ( 3500kv ) is pretty much ideal for 2-3s lipo use, unless you really were planning on 100mph as your normal speed..
The castlecreations sidewinder or new SC esc and motors would be great, nice efficient little 4 pole motors that run cool even with high gearing.
I would look at what lipos minamps sells as being 'made-for' the mini erevo, locate dimensions and then look elsewhere to buy your packs.  |
