But I think this is the only of the Hyperion VX lipo's that will fit, namely 2 of these placed on their side in the kit's battery compartement:
G3-VX4200-5S
Length 136.3 x Width 42.8 x Height 36.5 I got the dimensions from here:

And when you place 2 of these in series, and on their side next to each other (so not on each other) you get 8s with a capacity of 8400 mah and dimensions will be:
same Length:
136.3, Width becomes the previous Height x2 :
73, Heigth becomes previous Width:
42.8
So, with a little adjustment I think for a + 100mm motor you can have a really nice 8s set up already :)
