Dejan, there are several finished conversions running around here. :) But Jerry if you check out Dejan's conversion, another way to free up some battery space, although really there is plenty already, is get rid of the plastic servo/radio housing and use a shorter plate.
One of the ways to counter act the switch to a CD is by using 4.3 ratio front/rear diffs such as what I've been experimenting with in my thread. Or you can run 50/52/54 spurs which others on just center diff conversions have done and reported good success with. Or create your own gearbox around a center diff that consists of two additional gears that help reduce the ratio to something closer to a Flux's gearbox. Later, if you don't have good metal working skills/tools like me is a bit of a stretch. :)
