I will add these braces. 1/4"x1/2"x2". They screw into the FLM Braces through the chassis. I still need to tap the end and screw the motor mount to the end. Then I will make an angled piece of 1/8" 7075 to finish it off and make it rock solid.

Here is what I got up to now (minus the 7075 angle and screw tapped in from the motor mount side)

About ~2mm off the motor fins to the chassis: Woot!

Even if I regear to the 50t spur and I can lower the motor down again to keep the motor sitting nice and low...
