Slash 4x4 or 2x4 will suit you just fine. To be honest freeze I don't think there is a RC that you can truly bash. Your ocd will kick in and you will see the faults in the thing modify it and then be in the same scenario you are in now. Even if you start with a dirt cheap Brushed Stampede 2x4 you would most likely turn it into a awesome machine that you would grow fond of and never want to abuse.

The thing you need to do is just let go. You sound like your pretty well off financially seeing as you blew a lot of money building that Flux in such short time. So, with that being said just bash the Freeze. When it breaks of gets damaged that enjoyment you got from building it will come back more and more.

Either way to each his own. I just want you to one day realize the enjoyment of the I don't give a F, I will get this thing off that 30' drop in one piece.

Maybe one day you'll take a trip to Reno and I'll let you feel that enjoyment.
