sounds alot like Brian015 is doubting whether the Leopard motors aren't actually clones of the NeuCastle motors- like Dr.Evil using finger quotes whenever he says "laser beams"... ( you see my point hopefully ).
I would'nt like to guess whether Neu or Castle could stop another retailer from selling clone motors as, like I said, Neu owns the patent and castle only makes them under license from Neu.
The design may be just enough different for the patent protection to no longer apply ( look at Medusa motors vs Neu motors for example- both American motors ) regardless; whether you support Castle/ Neu or just want a cheap motor is personal choice, but supporting a brand that rips off years of R&D work still aint all that cool- such is life...
