It is also amazing to see brand X perform the way it did. Much better performance would be expected from brand X according to its reputation and price. It kinda shows to me that any company can fling BS at me, no matter what their reputation is. It shows to me that when it comes to lipos, no company can be trusted until some standardized testing of lipos is established. It also shows me that the old saying ''you get what you paid for'' that has been said to me so many times when I started in brushless is also BS. Not because the people that said it were mean, because they didn't really know what they were talking about. No one knows really, without standardized testing of cells, you can get a bad pack from any company out there. I mean, the cells pretty much come from the same places.

Right now, quality control and CS is what defines the better companies and that's it. So ''you get what you paid for'' relates to what the good companies are willing to do to fix the problem of bad lipo cells finding their way in their lipo packs. These companies that are trying their best to do the right thing must suffer from the lack of standardization on the testing of the cells they buy. It all starts with the manufacturer of those cells, that's where a global standardization is needed. Cells come out, are tested in the same manner that is globally recognized and then graded. Like beef. Grade A cells, grade B cells etc. Now the companies that buy cells to assemble packs and sell them can chose the quality of the cells they put in them and price accordingly. And WE will finally know what we are really buying and finally the words ''you get what you pay for'' will regain their true meaning.

No brain, no headaches.
