I suggest a used MXB5T or 6T or Losi 8T. Brushless obviously. You could even get the electronics used. You might would want to get a used nitro roller and reform it with new E goodies. A buggy would be cheaper and even more durable. You can't be the durability of an 'uggy'
The new Stampede does look kinda cool same goes for the 4x4 slash. I am liking the Hyper 1/10 scale truggy alot.
Sadly brushless and stock Emaxxs don't play well together. I think that would be one of the worst things you could do. lol its what I did.
The Ruckus you mentioned doesn't look so good under the hood. Its 2wd, not brushless, plastic shafts, and has tamiya connectors. The body for it does look pretty cool though.
