Personally I blame the donkey's for telling the alien story to the birds and fish in the first place. I know they thought it was funny but what a bunch of jackasses. I mean, now thousands are dead.

Rabosi's story is what the donkey's put out to try a put the blame elsewhere. It was lie fabricated by a chipmunk in league with the donkeys. Apparently the chipmunk clans where upset about the birds getting their nuts and how the fish had the birds dropping them into the water so they could eat them too. Chip and Dale where responsible for bringing the tribes together to con the donkey's with their plan. They promised the donkeys that the fish and birds would love the stories.

Little did Chip and Dale know that Woody and Buzz where hiding out listening to their plans and leaked the truth. I mean one can't really blame the donkey's as they where scammed.

Doc Hudson will be trying Chip and Dale for murder and the trial is becoming known as the Scapegoat's Chipmunk Trials. Chip and Dale claim innocence and say the trial is a farce. They put the blame on fundamentalist monkey's and say the monkey's framed them and paid off Woody and Buzz to lie while also funneling money to Doc Hudson to stage the trial and convict them.

Even if convicted though Chip and Dale swear they will appeal.
