That 1717 on 4S is very slow. If you run it on 6S it's got a comparable RPM to that of a nitro & RPM means better speed.
1717 = 1580kv x 14.8 = 23384 rpm

I see you're running 2 packs, so, why not run two 2200mAh 6S still light & balanced yet superbly fast.
Your choice, I just thought I'd throw you some ideas.

Just had a look at this again. Just letting you know i race with a CC 1520 in my truggy on 4s lipo. I've just geared up up pretty far. (MBX6Te w/ 46t spur, 23t pinion) I don't really care about the runtimes as i can last the quals (10mins) and in the mains (20mins) i would have to do a battery change anyway.
