It's a long held tradition of American Governments to stick their nose into other countries business if it suits their own needs in the short or long term ( *cough* oil & resources *cough* ), cant turn around and say you shouldnt be interfering on
this occasion. As it happens, American forces are not being deployed on the ground & are only providing air-support in Libya ( who have lots of oil )...
