I have to agree with you guys about this one. We work for the Department of State and you can bet your bottom dollar that every country we are posted in has laws about having some form of ID on you at all times. We even have to acquire local ID's through their immigration services so that we have some kind of ID that their police and other support services can read, because it is in their native writing. In fact while in Korea we had to acquire a Korean drivers lisence, a Korean immigrant ID card, and a Korean foreign diplomatic ID to show what country we were from. We also had to have a US Embassy ID card, a US Military base ID card, and a US Embassy Support services ID card, and a US ration ID card for shopping in the military Exchange and Commissary stores. And here we are violating the rights of the immigrants just by requiring them to carry an immigrant ID card. I have to say that this administration has done a lot of things that I am not too proud of and if the people want them to be held accountable then the people have to stand up and be heard. Otherwise things will just keep going south literally. I also have to say that this professors video is dammed hard to argue with. I for one would like to hear Obama's arguement against this stand.
