when i had my erbe i went through those stupid pos plastic axles all the time, and when i say "all the time" i mean like i was damn lucky if i could get a set of batteries through the stupid thing before i broke one. I know you dont want a savage (not sure why not?) but i sold my erbe and bought one and i couldnt be happier. A truggy might be boring like other have said because of the center diff and ground clearence issue. I agree with Linc, get an LST XXL or LST2 and convert it to brushless, they are the next best thing to a savage as far as toughness goes
