I'm debating. I put the Mamba XL I had in my cybermaxx (1521 on 8s

) and need to buy a new ESC for my 5b.

I'm running a RX pack and mechanical brakes just because. I rarely use reverse. (leftover driving habit from nitro days)

Do I go with the HV160 and have the ability to run up to 12s or just go with the XL as it has car specific software.

I can get an HV160 and a pistix for about $50 less than an XL.

Anyone?
