This is what I understood about collars as well.
We only have one dog. He turns 7 at the end of the month. He's a Golden Retriever. We actually had his half brother too (same father) before him, but he got away from my parents when they were walking him one night and ran into the street and got hit by two cars. Neither of them bothered to stop. It was the street right near my house, so he was only about a hundred feet away from my house. We rushed him to the vet ER but his heart was already stopped by the time we got there. They tried to bring him back but he was gone.
After we lost him (Shadow), we wanted a pup from the same parents so we called the breeder but apparently Shadow's mom got hit by a car just a month earlier (which to this day gives me the chills), so that's why we have his half brother (same dad, different mom). Anyway, here he is. Kobe.
