It takes amps just to spin up a larger motor. Bigger can be more efficient to a point, then it heads the other way.

I've actually been going smaller in my setups. The better motors (Neu specifically) make so much power in high voltage low KV systems that I can get insane power with tiny lipo's and light motors while retaining good run times and having the suspension run something less than the hardest springs and heaviest shock oils :-)
