This basically places a one way bearing in the front drive shaft so that the front wheels of the truck are not effected by the brakes They get power from the motor but freewheel otherwise. This allows you to rip through the turn without locking up your front wheels. It helps a bunch during a race when you need to power through a turn.
The EMaxx tranny is a very good transmission. But since I'm racing my truck, the trucks center of gravity needs to be as low as possible so the placement of wheight is crucial. My batteries are placed under the chassis and the BL motor is mounted on the side of the truck. The automatic transmission is adjustable so you can dial the shift point right out of it to keep it in first or adjust the shift point anywhere else you want/need.
I have had the most fun with this truck. I can't wait to go racing Saturday :)
