I've been on bedrest for basically 3 years. Up a week or so here and there and then months back in bed.

I've learned that pressure sores are just a part of my life now, and some sores never heal.

Sooo... Right now I am giving myself 1 day a week out of bed and packing as much as I can into my days up. I've been getting up from 7pm-7am on saturdays, so I can hit the bars in my hometown and hopefully pick up a bar skank. (I don't drink) Then I either defile said skank or come back to my apartment and wrench on r/c's. I really get into a zone working from 3-7am. My neighbors must hate the drilling/dremeling/cutting at all hours!

In august I get my 14 year old, Caleb, for the month! So I will be up and mobile for the entire month of august, spending time with my boy! I can't wait. I'm scrambling to have my r/c's running by then.

The month up will make one giant pressure sore and months of healing, but my boy is worth it.

Stay positive guys and make the best out of every situation. Attitude is a choice
