I guess it is a typo, but RR list that a a 32p 44t spur, and not mod 1... Seems too expensive as well. I run steel on steel on my lst, and if you set the mesh correctly you do not get noise.

Noise = friction and friction = wear. I have a feeling alot of people are setting their flux mesh with a piece of paper, and not by the sound it makes... And wearing out pinions. I have temped my pinions/spurs and you can get a good feel for how they are doing that way too.
