The motor partly depends on availible gearing options and the amount of voltage you are going to run. If you're going to stay with 6s, and don't mind waiting for things too cool down between runs the 2650 or 2200 is good. If you have the gearing options or are going with more than 6s, the torquier 1518 or 1520 could suit your needs quite well. Either way 6s would be the minimum for cracking 100mph. One of my many winter projects will be a Losi 8ight running 8s on a 1518 or 1520 (have both and will try both) with the new MambaXL to make some speed runs. Should have a helluva lot of torque and pull any gear I throw at it.

As TexasSP mentioned aerodynamics will be an issue. A couple of things you have to do.

1. Make some sort of brackets to hold the sides of the body (bottom of the doors) so it doesn't flap around.

2.Fill or cover the hole in the windshield, same for the back window if there is one there too.

3. Cut the back portion of the wing off where the sticker "Protouring" is. At those speeds it'll make too much downforce, bottoming out the rear of the car and lifting the front which will make it blow over backwards. Leave the vertical sides in place for stability.

Those are the basics. I'm sure some of our resident guru's can chime in with other suggestions and how to implement them. Do some searching of the site, theres a bunch of info on what's been done to get where you are going. BTW, welcome to the forums!
