The ratings are more than good enough for turning your wheels on an MT, let alone a truggy- I would say either try a glitch buster cap on the rx, or maybe you will have to run an external BEC.

I'm assuming there isnt some weird issue with the epa or channel mixing ofcourse ( more throttle > less steering etc ).
