I really enjoyed your machine work and fabrication process, but your drivetrain design seems a bit over complicated for my taste. When you compare what you have done on your project, to the readily available and hugely simplified hubs that are on the open market I doubt many people would want to go in this direction. I to think you are going to have a lot of issues with chain problems, and getting your electronics setup properly in order to get this E-bike working to a level that you will enjoy riding it. Still your machine work is pretty cool, and it appears that you can do just about anything to fabricate a workable solution. Not sure what this setup has cost you, but when you can purchase a chinese hub kit for under $500 and easily convert a montain bike in one day to a powered 25mph vehicle other options are likely to fall short. The major cost in any E-bike project is the battery setup, which one can spend anywhere from $500 to $2000 depending on what type and voltage one wants to use, and how fast they want to go.
