I agree 100%. I used to race in the mid to late 90s on an indoor track. Sadly the owner of that track/hobby shop was shot and killed when a meth head robbed him for cash so he could get his next fix. After that there was only an outdoor track to race on, but you had to belong to a club and the people were real asshats. I went to one race and that was it. It was no longer about friendly fun and was more about (insert charlie sheen moment) WINNING WINNING WINNING and having the latest gratest most expensive gadgets (like electric tire warmer covers for your RC10-T3) It was way too competitive to be any fun for me, and I hated the people by the end of the day. I put all my stuff up for sale the next day and got out of the hobby, all thanks to these uber competitive asshats.
