The diffs can be installed either way inside the diff housings, and the only issue will be that you install the front and rear facing opposite from each other. They just have to be flip flopped because one faces rear and the other faces forward. If for instance both are installed with the ring gear on the same side they will oppose each other in rotation, which will bind up your drivetrain. From a mechanical standpoint whether the front faces left or right really does not matter as long as the front and rear are not facing the same direction.
