Is the motor the ESP black magic motor? I remember those being torque monsters. If you run it at all, you might need the aluminum idler gear, even with the old new battery. I had a rebel esc, Still do. It's one step up from the F10 you have, tough esc and will live long, even with abuse

I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
