well first of, the L bracket is the best solution in my honest opinion. thats what i use except out of carbon fiber.
second, it shouldnt be to difficult. just twist em, tin em (the plug AND wire), let the iron get REALLY hot and just have at it. dont forget the shrink tubing first though.
third, it doesnt matter. just make sure that the 2 wires per phase are together and not mixed up (should be pretty obvious). i wire mine to look pretty and so there all alligned and stuff. most people dont and just switch em around (any 2) if the truck goes in reverse, however its somewhat difficult if you direct solder and it makes it look like $*^&. the other way to do that is to pull the red jumper off after its programmed and the batteries are on, then you will here a single beep and that lets you know its reversed. just put the jumper back on and your set. if your confused about anything just read the sticky on how to program a bk controller.
