those are some pretty good chargers actually, dont be put off by the small size and old looks (thats what she said!) they work pretty well. The only bad thing about old DC peak chargers like that is they require a really good DC power supply, or a 12v car battery. If the voltage fed to the chargers fluctuates AT ALL they will false peak. So using cheap power supplies, or 2 chargers on one power supply is a bad idea.

Thats a good assortment of vintage motors! I used to have the second one from the left (LeMans 240ST) in an old kyosho buggy. The numbers on the LeMans motors stand for run time on a 1200mah battery, and the letters stand for the type of racing they were made for. So a 240ST would run for 240 seconds, the ST stands for, well, I cant remember, maybe "speed track"? Anyway, just thought I would share this little tidbit of random info that has nothing to do with your build
