Yep that "dark iridescent bluish-purple color" is right. I know there is a few different processes with Ti and the results are different colors. That is cool you have the 6mm Ti ones, these the CV shaft, Axle and Hex are all Titanium on this set. Only a few sets ever made to my knowledge and I am proud to have one of the sets, set me back a few pennies though.....
I do not have a definite shop yet for this process, still looking here locally. I want to do these and my pillow balls.

Once I find a shop for a reasonable price I will let you know. Eric said it was pretty costly but I had one other friend say he can get it done for right around $80. December was the time frame he quoted me when the shop could take my business so I hope that is still a possibility. I will have to see when that time rolls around. It for sure looks awesome though! My friend told me he got his done in Red but I have yet to find any Ti coatings in Red?? I am still waiting to see a picture of them, they sound spectacular.
