I would think that you first have to figure out how it is attached. If it's thermal epoxy, freezing the motor can make the epoxy brittle enough to break loose. Or, you can try heating it up to ~200*F to make the adhesive softer (I would remove rotor first), just be careful not to go too high where you melt the coil wire laminations.

However, the contact area between the motor and sleeve is quite large and you may have trouble seperating them no matter what you do.
