Just curious, but aren't outrunners generally supposed to spin rather slow? 1600kv @ 28.5v is almost 30k rpm; fine for an inrunner, but not sure about an outrunner unless it is specifically designed for those high rpms.

From what I've seen, most people who run outrunners replace the transmission and/or spur&pinion altogether. So, slower rpms work in that case...
